We will learn practices of mindfulness and self-compassion that have been shown to decrease stress, increase clarity, vitality and joy. In addition, these practices deactivate centers of the brain responsible for emotional reactivity, and engage the rational and compassionate parts of the brain so we can make choices aligned with our deepest values.
